Waiting for Homes
Our dogs come to us from many different backgrounds. They all share one thing in common, they deserve a good pet home now. We have invested time, expenses of transport to our shelter, medical, veterinarian , housing , feeding ect... Our adoption fees are on a sliding scale to help encourage folks to adopt the older ,less wanted, but most deserving dogs. If you consider veterinarian fees alone, I am sure you can agree our fees are very reasonable. You can help further by shopping at www.myhealthextension.com (use code apetshelter) anything bought there will help buy feed for our shelter dogs.

If you are serious and ready to adopt one of our friends , please be sure you read FAQ and how to adopt, and then email us for an application. Thanks!
Caution-we do NOT reserve without payment
Do not send us an application if you still have questions or are unsure, an application means you want THAT dog! It is not fair to the dog or the other adopters to do otherwise. Do not send us an application if you sent one to another rescue and really want their dog...please wait for their reply, if that is the dog you want.

Update 7/23/2010 we have about 20 retired breeding dogs coming in from a kennel downsizing. These are mostly maltese, bichons, yorkies, poms and shihtzu. They are mostly females and will range from 5-7 yrs old. The fellow was going to euthanize them, but is giving us a chance to find homes first. They are $200 which will includes, their spay, vet check, microchip, shots updated and basic teeth cleaning if needed. We will post pictures by July 24. Would like to get some applications in and potential homes lined up as space here is limitted. We are happy to send to other licensed rescues.
